For the winter season 2024/25, Fox Archers in Sevenoaks have kindly offered to us the ability to shoot with them on their indoor range on Sunday mornings. Here are the details:
Indoor archery at West Heath for the winter season is starting this coming Sunday (3rd November). Please arrive at 9.15am for a prompt 9.30am start. All are welcome to attend, visitors will be required to show proof of AGB Membership.

Some work has been undertaken during the summer, new roads added, and car parking areas have been altered.
Parking for archers is at the top of the main drive and turn right into the spaces in front of the school building. The sports hall is located to the left of the main driveway and accessed (on foot) via a new road which replaces the previous tarmac pathway.
Parking for blue badge holders is available near the sports hall. For those of you using this facility, please turn left at the bottom of the drive and follow the new one-way system to the sports building. We will be sharing this smaller parking area with the swimming club and spaces are limited.
Please be on time, we are charged by the hour and have a 3-hour slot allocated for our use.
We will not be providing hot drinks at the halfway point, just pausing for enough time to pay weekly subs and use the facilities. Make sure to bring your own drinks/snacks for indoor shooting.
We usually shoot a Portsmouth round, which is 5 dozen arrows at 20 yards. There are other alternatives which we can decide on during the season but all are well within everyone’s capability.
Indoor shooting is not covered by your annual membership fee but is an extra which is funded by members attending on the Sunday mornings. In order for us to continue to provide this valuable practice session in the winter months, we need 20 archers to attend each week at the cost of £7 per person in order to break even. Please do come along and join us.
NOTE: Last session of the year (a fun Xmas shoot) is on 15th Dec 2025. Restart in the new year on 12th Jan 2025
